| Changes in the Kone Executive Board Noud Veeger has been appointed Executive Vice President responsible for Central and North Europe as of September 1, 2014. He will continue as a member of the Executive Board and report to Henrik Ehrnrooth, President and CEO of Kone Corporation, one of the global leaders in the elevator and escalator industry. Noud Veeger is currently responsible for Kone's business in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East. Noud Veeger will succeed Ari Lehtoranta, who has been appointed President and CEO of Nokian Tyres plc as of September 1, 2014. Neeraj Sharma, 53, has been appointed Executive Vice President, Asia-Pacific and the Middle East as of September 1, 2014. He has been Managing Director for Kone India since 2009, prior to which he served in various leadership roles at General Electric. He will become a member of the Executive Board and report to Henrik Ehrnrooth. Anne Korkiakoski, Executive Vice President, Global Marketing and Communications has decided to leave Kone as of August 1, 2014 to pursue other interests outside the company.
