| NCC leases 25,000 square meters in Mölndal  Leading Nordic hygiene and forest products company has selected NCC's office solution for its operations in Mölndal and signs lease for approximately 25,000 square meters of floor space. Occupancy is scheduled for December 2016.NCC has signed a lease with SCA for a new establishment comprising some 25,000 square meters of floor space for use as office premises and an innovation center in Mölndal's new inner-city district. SCA and NCC will jointly create an SCA Business Center that supports the company's strategy for long-term sustainable growth. Construction will commence in June 2014 and occupancy is scheduled for December 2016. "SCA is a major and important employer in western Sweden and we are proud to be entrusted with the development of a new and modern Business Center for innovation, marketing and sales for the company's hygiene business. SCA will acquire a modern work environment that paves the way for innovation and growth, " says Katarina Wåhlin Alm, Country Manager, NCC Property Development Sweden. The establishment marks the start of the development of new inner-city Mölndal by NCC and the Municipality of Mölndal. The vision is to create an attractive city center with a vibrant urban pulse through an increased city feeling and a mix of office, retail and residential premises, while developing public spaces. The premises are part of Future Office by NCC, a Nordic concept aimed at creating attractive and sustainable workplaces for customers. The property will be a GreenBuilding and be certified under the international BREEAM environmental assessment system.
