| GC's 6-inch and 4-inch High CRI Downlights receive ES qualification GREEN CREATIVE (GC) announced the ENERGY STAR (ES) qualification of its CRISP SERIES 6" and 4" High CRI downlights. GREEN CREATIVE now has over 60 ENERGY STAR qualified products. In addition to ENERGY STAR, the 6" and 4" downlights also meet Title 24 installation standards and comply with the California Quality Specification set forth by the California Energy Commission (CEC). This voluntary specification has stricter performance standards than ENERGY STAR, especially regarding CRI and chromaticity. As members of GREEN CREATIVE'S CRISP SERIES, the 6" Downlight 16W and 4" Downlight 12W retrofit kits provide exceptional color rendering with typical CRI 92 and R9 60 values. These dimmable fixtures make individual colors look crisper and cleaner than typical CRI 80 LED lamps and are ideal for applications that demand accurate color rendering such as retail, food, museums, and art galleries. The California Quality Spec requires a tighter chromaticity than ENERGY STAR. Both the new 6" and 4" downlights meet the CEC's 4-step requirement and deliver comfortable diffused light in Warm White CCTs. Compared to ENERGY STAR's 7-step requirement, a 4-step Macadam ellipse minimizes lamp to lamp color deviation, creates truer 2700K and 3000K CCTs, and ensures projects involving a large number of lamps have a consistent color temperature. Both the 6" and 4" LED downlights install in just minutes and are compatible with both existing incandescent housing and new LED housing. The dimmable 6" Downlight 16W is ENERGY STAR qualified in 3000K and 2700K, replaces a 75W incandescent and lasts 35,000 hours. The dimmable 4" Downlight 12W is ENERGY STAR qualified in 2700K, replaces a 50W incandescent and lasts 35,000 hours. GREEN CREATIVE also offers a high CRI A19 and BR30 that meet the California Quality Specification. write your comments about the article :: © 2014 Construction News :: home page |
