Compact heat-exchanger made of capillary tube mats

The company BEKA offers a newly developed air-to-brine heat-exchanger. The compact heat-exchanger consists of capillary tube mats rolled up with special 3D spacers between the single capillary tubes. This ensures an ideal thermal transfer between air and brine and thus very high abstraction capacity of the heat exchanger. The exchange surface of the capillary tube mats is about 10m². The capillary heat-exchanger can absorb and release heat and can be used in thermal energy storage such as ice storage or hot water storage systems.

The innovative capillary tube technology enables a high-quality and healthy climatisation with low consumption of energy and resources.

Further advantages are short response time, small profile of the mats and thus a thin overall construction. The result is an absolutely uniform temperature distribution without draft which people find pleasant.

Capillary tube mats are equally suitable for new constructions and retrofits. With an experience of over 20 years, capillary mats are used for climate friendly, invisible heating and cooling of offices, hotels, hospitals, stores and residential buildings worldwide.
