| Skanska constructs motorway in the UK Skanska UK has signed a contract for improvements to M1 Junction 19 with the UK's Highways Agency. The contract is worth about GBP 129 M, about SEK 1.3 billion, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska UK in the fourth quarter of 2013. M1 Junction 19 is a major UK road intersection and the scope of works includes the construction of direct free-flow links, easing traffic movements at the intersections linking the M1, M6 and A14. The scheme also includes refurbishment works to three local roads. The project will lead to improved safety and journey reliability.
