The Group's Hong Kong subsidiary constructed the Island Shangri-La and Conrad hotels in 1991 and the Hong Kong SkyCity Marriott Hotel in 2009, and it took part in refurbishing the Mandarin Oriental in 2006. In Paris, following the Four Seasons George V, the Grand Hôtel Intercontinental, the Fouquet's Barrière, the Royal Monceau, the Shangri-La and the Prince de Galles, the Group is currently renovating the Ritz and the Crillon. In international locations, Bouygues Construction is also currently engaged on a number of luxury hotel complexes in the Caribbean, Morocco, Singapore and Dubai. Bouygues Construction continues to develop rapidly in the region. Its subsidiary Dragages Hong Kong completed the Cruise Terminal Building in 2013 and is currently constructing two rail tunnels for the Hong Kong-Beijing high-speed line and the first stretch of the bridge that will link Hong Kong and the cities of Zhuhai and Macau. Dragages Hong Kong has also won a contract recently to build a 4.2-kilometre undersea road tunnel that will link the New Territories, north of Hong Kong, to Lantau Island, where the international airport is situated. write your comments about the article :: © 2013 Construction News :: home page |
