| Strabag awarded road construction contract for R2 in Slovakia A consortium led by the European construction group Strabag SE has signed the contract to build the 10.4 km long section of the R2 expressway between Pstruša and Kriván in Slovakia. The contract value amounts to € 178 million, of which Strabag a.s. holds a 40 % share. The R2 expressway runs through the valley of the Slatina River in central Slovakia and links the cities of Pstruša and Kriván. In addition to the motorway section, the works also comprise the construction of 13 bridges, noise barriers and access roads.
