| BAM subsidiary to extend the underground Line U4 in Hamburg Wayss & Freytag Ingenieurbau – the German civil engineering company of Royal BAM Group – has been awarded by public transport company Hamburger Hochbahn AG a contract for the construction of a 230 metre long loop to turn and park underground trains of the U-Bahn Line 4. The contract value is € 21 million. The project, near the underground station HafenCity, is to be conducted by cut-and-cover tunneling and is part of the extension of the metro line U4.
