| New Hospital Nordsjælland – Ramboll in final competition The Capital Region of Denmark has chosen three winning proposals in the first phase of the international competition of New Hospital Nordsjælland. Ramboll is part of two of the final three proposals. In 2020, a new, highly specialised emergency hospital of 136,000 m2 will be completed in Hillerød, north of the Danish capital Copenhagen. The hospital will be built on a greenfield site in countryside surroundings close to the city of Hillerød with easy access to the capital and the rest of Zealand via train and road network. The budget of the project is EUR 509.4 million. Ramboll Denmark is part of a consortium with C.F. Moller and Alectia in one of the winning proposals, while Ramboll UK contributes as sub-consultant in another consortium led by Herzog & de Meuron and Vilhelm Lauritzen Architects.
