| Jacobs receives contract from National Roads Authority in Ireland Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced that it was awarded a contract from National Roads Authority (NRA) to conduct health and safety site inspections on the National Road Network in Ireland, and to provide corporate support for occupational health and safety initiatives within the NRA. Officials did not disclose the contract value, but noted that this award follows a previous commission through which Jacobs developed an inspection system for the NRA that is currently being utilized.
