| AMEC to construct three solar projects in Marion County, Indiana AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, has been awarded an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract by Dominion, one of the US's largest energy providers, to design and construct three solar projects in Marion County, Indiana that will generate a peak combined output of 28.6 megawatts of electricity. Under the contract, the value of which has not been disclosed, AMEC will provide EPC services including engineering, procurement of all materials including solar panels, construction, tie-in to the local electrical distribution system and commissioning. Work has begun and commercial production is expected to begin in late 2013. The three projects, known as Indy Solar I, Indy Solar II and Indy Solar III, will use standard photovoltaic technology with a fixed-tilt system and utilize JinkoSolar modules, Array Technologies' racking and SMA inverters. Two of the projects southeast of Indianapolis near Franklin will be located on 155 acres. The third located southwest of Indianapolis will be sited on 134 acres.
