| New steel baluster finish CertainTeed welcomes a new steel baluster finish to its Panorama line of capped composite railing. The new Oil-Rubbed Bronze finish adds another rich color choice for an array of steel baluster design style options. The finish is now available in the decorative post cap line-up as well. "With the addition of the new steel baluster finish, building professionals have even more freedom of choice when creating a custom look for unmatched curb appeal," said Patti Pellock, senior marketing manager for CertainTeed's Fence, Railing and Deck Business. "Panorama's classic painted wood style and low-maintenance design makes it a popular choice." The 5/8-inch powder-coated, hot-dipped galvanized steel balusters create a rustic yet customizable design for both flat and stair applications. The pre-cut 26 ¾-inch balusters come in four styles: straight, twist, single basket and double basket and install easily with patented baluster shoes, yielding a 36-inch finished rail height. The Panorama railing system is fully wrapped with PVC for a weatherable finish that replicates smooth, painted wood from all angles. Available in two heights and two lengths, its design also features a handcrafted authenticity and true architectural details not found on other composite railing. Panorama includes convenient universal components for the top and bottom rails as well as patented baluster shoes for ease of installation. A concealed external rail-to-post connection creates a seamless appearance on flat, stair, column and 45-degree applications. For long-lasting performance, safety and security, Panorama uses corrosion-resistant stainless steel hardware. The NAHB green-approved system is suitable for use on one- and two-family dwellings up to three stories high and is backed by a 25-year limited warranty with 2-year SureStart protection. write your comments about the article :: © 2013 Construction News :: home page |
