| AMEC engaged by Xcite Energy to provide services for the Bentley Field, North Sea AMEC, the international engineering and project management company, has been engaged by Xcite Energy Resources Limited (XER) to undertake engineering services for the Bentley oil field in the North Sea. The companies have also signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to support the future field development. The value of the engineering services contract, which includes concept familiarisation and verification, has not been announced. In addition, AMEC and XER have signed a MOU to develop a wider services agreement for the Bentley field to cover key items of the field development scope and the ongoing field operations.
