| Ferrovial to build an industrial complex for copper production in Poland Budimex, the Polish subsidiary of Ferrovial Agroman, has been awarded a contract by KGHM Polska Miedź to build an industrial complex for copper production in Głogów, in southwest Poland. KGHM Polska Miedź is one of the world's largest producers of copper and silver. The project, which is worth around 30 million euro, strengthens Ferrovial's activity in the Polish industrial construction segment. The project will be executed by Mostostal Kraków, a Budimex subsidiary specialised in steel structure assembly and equipment installation for the cement, energy, metallurgical and chemical industries. The complex will comprise two fluidised furnaces and an electric furnace distributed in several buildings, together with a recovery boiler in a separate building. The project also includes a nine-story annex building for power generation. write your comments about the article :: © 2013 Construction News :: home page |
