| Kone to supply elevators for Suzhou Modern Media Plaza Finnish lift and escalator maker Kone has been chosen to supply People Flow solutions for the Suzhou Modern Media Plaza, a landmark project being built in the major city located west of Shanghai. The 37,700 square meter complex will feature two L-shaped towers, 200 meters and 150 meters in height. These will house a luxury hotel, office, retail and entertainment spaces as well as media broadcasting and production facilities for the Suzhou Broadcasting System. Suzhou Modern Media Plaza was designed by Nikken Sekkei and is being constructed by Suzhou Erjian Construction Group. Forty-five Kone elevators and 24 escalators have been ordered to handle the traffic demands of the high-rise complex.
