| Vinci to construct a 4 km tunnel for the new Hong Kong SCL mass transit line Vinci Construction Grands Projets has been awarded by MTR Corporation Limited the contract 1103 – Hin Keng to Diamond Hill tunnels – part of the new Shatin to Central Link mass transit railway, for an amount of 280 million euros. The contract comprises the construction of 2,475 m of drill and blast tunnel and 1,400m twin tunnels to be excavated by means of a slurry TBM with 7.4 m diameter. The works commence 22 October 2012, with a contract duration of 68 months.
