| Jacobs on jv team delivering final design for Sound Transit Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. (NYSE:JEC) announced that it is a member of the joint venture team that was awarded a final design contract by Sound Transit of Seattle, Wash. for its East Link light rail extension. H-J-H Final Design Partners (H-J-H) is a joint venture of HNTB, Jacobs and Hatch Mott MacDonald. The Sound Transit contract awarded to H-J-H is valued at $88 million. Under the terms of the contract, H-J-H is delivering approximately seven miles of double-track light rail transit, eight stations, a cut-and-cover tunnel in downtown Bellevue, and long-span bridge crossings over interstates 405 and 90 for the South Bellevue to Overlake Transit Center portion of the East Link extension. write your comments about the article :: © 2012 Construction News :: home page |
