| SNC-Lavalin announces new appointment SNC-Lavalin Vice Chairman and Interim CEO Ian A. Bourne announces that Feroz Ashraf, Executive Vice-President and head of Global Mining and Metallurgy (M&M), has decided to retire and Dale Clarke has been named his successor. Effective October 1, 2012, Mr. Clarke will succeed Mr. Ashraf, who is retiring after 33 years of service in the company. Mr. Clarke, who is 47 years old, has been very active in a number of signature projects for this business unit, including Ambatovy and the BHP Billiton Hub. Feroz Ashraf, who has held this position since 2009 and has been with SNC-Lavalin since 1979, has announced his retirement, effective December 31, 2012.
