| BAM FM recognised by RoSPA for five years of gold safety awards BAM FM, part of BAM Construct UK, has been awarded a gold medal from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) in its Occupational Health and Safety Awards 2012. The gold medal for preventing accidents and ill health is achieved only after reaching gold status for five successive years and reflects sustained achievement and is placed above the merit, bronze, silver and gold levels. BAM's portfolio covers around 30 schools reflecting its prominent long-term position in the sector but it also includes police headquarters, many offices, leisure centres and community hospitals - and recently, even facilities at the Olympic Village. Mainly its contracts are long-term but it also manages facilities over shorter terms to help clients acclimatise to their new buildings. BAM's success is most notable in Bristol, Birmingham, Scotland, Sussex, and London where it runs several schools. In total BAM FM is behind the facilities management of more than 70 diverse buildings in every sector. write your comments about the article :: © 2012 Construction News :: home page |
