| Balfour Beatty preferred bidder for North Tyneside contract Balfour Beatty, Britain's largest construction company, has announced that its LivingPlaces business has been selected as the preferred partner by North Tyneside Council to provide business services, which incorporates finance, procurement, revenues and benefits, ICT, Customer Services and Human Resources. The contract is expected to be worth in excess of £200m over 15 years.
