| Skanska investing in new wind farm in Sweden Skanska Infrastructure Development and Jämtkraft are investing in a wind power plant with a total cost of about SEK 1.2 billion. Skanska and Jämtkraft owns 50 percent each. The construction contract for Skanska is worth about SEK 200 M, which is booked in the third quarter 2012. The new wind farm, Mullberg Wind Park, is located at Rätan in Berg Municipality, Jämtland, and developed by Eolus Vind AB, one of the leading wind power project developers in Sweden with extensive experience in the development of appropriate locations for establishing wind power. The wind farm is located on two spaced elevation ridges in the terrain with altitude of 520-600 meters above sea level. The permit allows for 31 turbines in a combined generating capacity of 80 MW and a total height of 180 meters and an annual production of more than 200 GWh, which will be able to support approximately 45,000 households. Skanska enters the project as an investor and contractor together with the power company Jämtkraft, who contributes with knowledge of electricity, production and trading business. The procurement for turbine supplier has begun. Jemtska, a company jointly owned by Skanska and Jämtkraft, is the building contractor and is responsible for building the wind farm and connection to the mains.
