| Arcadis wins federal environmental restoration contract Dutch engineering firm Arcadis announced it has been selected by the Air Force Center for Engineering and the Environment (AFCEE) to provide restoration services at Moody Air Force Base under its $3B Worldwide Environmental Remediation framework contract. The Moody AFB Performance Based Remediation task order extends through September 2020 with a total value to Arcadis of approximately $18 million. Under the Air Force's Performance Based Remediation Program, Arcadis will deliver remedies and strategies that meet federal and state environmental restoration standards while reducing costs to the Air Force, accelerating the project timeline for a firm fixed price and aiding in restoration on the more than 11,000 acre property. This task order, under the AFCEE Worldwide Environmental Remediation Contract, provides for the environmental restoration of twelve sites on the World War II era Air Force Base including several landfills, industrial and vehicle maintenance shops, fueling stations, disposal and burn areas, and the associated soils, groundwater plumes, and drainage areas. write your comments about the article :: © 2012 Construction News :: home page |
