| Savills announces appointment of new head of its German operation UK property giant Savills has announced that Marcus Lemli will take on the role as Head of its German business from 01 October 2012 following the departure of Bernd-Uwe Willer, current Head of the company's German operation, as he leaves to pursue new challenges. Having originally worked for Savills Spain between 2004 and 2006, Marcus re-joined Savills earlier in the year to Head its European Investment operation, which he will also maintain along with managing and expanding the Savills German business. Prior to this he spent six years at Jones Lang La Salle in Germany where he was Head of the respective capital markets and leasing businesses. Savills was established in Germany in 1973. The company currently has offices in Berlin, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne and Munich.
