| Custom trash and "green" recycling receptacles for U.S. government ![]() To meet the Government's high standards, Glaro developed a variety of models of waste receptacles and matching recycling receptacles in various sizes and finishes. Durable fire-safe metals and several attractive finishes are being used. Most have authorized government logos appropriate to various government branches. Logos were skillfully silk screened onto the body of each unit by hand under stringent quality control measures. In addition specialized silk screened messages such as "waste" "bottles and cans" and other recycling related messages were applied to the covers next to the appropriate top openings indicating the chosen use. Robert Betensky commented, "We are very pleased to see the U.S. Government continuing its relationship with Glaro. We are equally pleased to see the support of quality American manufacturing and American labor through relationships like this." In fact, the relationship, which began when recycling was on the cusp of being made popular nationally, has expanded to include office buildings, visitor centers, museums, etc. Since that time, hundreds of trash receptacles have been built and shipped. "We uphold the highest standards of manufacturing from design through manufacturing, quality control, and even our packaging and shipping methods. Our receptacles have proven to stand up under all weather conditions and are easy to clean. Glaro was able to customize orders quickly as well as ship receptacles faster than other companies. We believe those advantages and the ability of Glaro to customize receptacles were an asset to us in the decision making process" commented Bob Betensky, Executive Vice President. write your comments about the article :: © 2012 Construction News :: home page |
