| Bilfinger Berger acquires Westcon Bilfinger Berger has strengthened its industrial services business in the United States of America with the acquisition of Westcon Inc., an assembly and service specialist. The company, located in North Dakota, generates an output volume of approximately €150 million with about 1,000 employees and has a good EBITA margin. Bilfinger Berger has acquired 100 percent of the company, which was previously owned by management and financial investors. The two parties have agreed to keep the terms of the sale confidential. Bilfinger Berger intends to substantially expand its business activities in the USA. The Group's current activities there are focused on the maintenance of industrial facilities, to date primarily for the oil and gas industry in the southern part of the country as well as for clients in the process and consumer goods industries. Other activities include specialized services for real-estate maintenance.
