| Kone will optimize People Flow at the Hatten City project in Malaysia Finnish elevator and escalator manufacturer Kone has won an order to supply the people flow solutions for Hatten City, a mixed-use development project in the coastal city of Malacca in Malaysia. Kone's solutions will be delivered to an five-story shopping mall and two 170-meter-high tower blocks of luxury condominiums which are currently under construction. The Silverscape residential tower will be the highest building in the State of Malacca. The order includes 23 Kone MiniSpace and 14 Kone MonoSpace elevators, and 72 Kone TravelMaster commercial escalators. Kone's eco-efficient elevators will bring residents up to the sky deck on the the 45th story to admire the views of the Straights of Malacca. Furthermore, all 37 elevators will be equipped with Kone Infoscreens to guide elevator passengers for smoother flow in the building. The TravelMaster escalators will enhance the shopping experience at the Elements Mall. Hatten city has been designed by RDCA and developed by Singapore-based Hatten Group.
