| Meet the Stannah family For almost 150 years Stannah has remained a resolutely independent British business. Although Stannah is world-renowned for stairlifts, the company is a single organisation with many specialities such as the supply and installation of: passenger and platform lifts, goods and service lifts, stairlifts, escalators, moving walkways, bespoke and custom-made lifts and all related lift, moving walkway and escalator services. Stannah has been supporting facilities and premises managers all over the UK for many years. Stannah's service engineers cover the whole of the UK from eleven service centres so there is always a Stannah engineer close by. In 2011 they looked after over 85,000 lift products, not just our own but products from all manufacturers. Stannah also refurbished hundreds of lifts for household names such as Network Rail, Sainsbury's, Marks and Spencer, the Co-op, CJ Clarks, Mothercare, Gap and Asda, to name but a few. Stannah's escalators have recently been installed in London's Paddington Station, in H&M Hennes stores and in 2012 more than thirty units will have pride of place in the Birmingham New Street redevelopment project.
