The high quality standards adopted when selecting the individual components ensure reliable, efficient operation throughout the entire service life of the photovoltaic system.Vitovolt 200 photovoltaic modules are available with both monocrystalline and polycrystalline silicon cells and nominal output ratings of 195 to 240 Wp. The modules are designed as laminated glass panels, whereby the solar cells are embedded between a low-iron glass panel at the front and a special plastic compound foil at the back, and the construction is surrounded by a rugged aluminium frame. Viessmann's comprehensive product portfolio only includes solar cells from suppliers who are audited at regular intervals. A review of the quality assurance procedures throughout the production process is just one of the points on the audit agenda. The quality of the solar cells is also tested by means of so-called flash tests, which are carried out repeatedly. Furthermore, these samples have also been tested in accordance with IEC (International Electrotechnical Commission) requirements, with a double-length aging cycle, since 2011. This means that suppliers can now offer power warranties for 90 % of the rated output for up to 12 years and 80 % for up to 25 years. Apart from this, Viessmann also offers a five-year product warranty for the Vitovolt 200 photovoltaic modules. Because they are so light, the plug-in Vitovolt 200 modules are particularly easy to install on the roof. Installation kits are available for vertical and horizontal rooftop installation. The electrical connection is prepared in the factory and the leads are simply plugged together. The modules' rugged aluminium frames ensure that they are capable of withstanding extremely high pressure and suction loads. Vitovolt inverters are exactly matched to the Vitovolt 200 modules. The new inverters are characterized by a high Euro efficiency rating (average efficiency) and they are equipped with integrated DC load switches. They offer modern communication functions with the Bluetooth interface, which is available as an option, and a high level of flexibility with MPP trackers to regulate the voltage.
