| DuPont reaches a settlement with a refrigerant reseller in Italy DuPont and Star Refrigeration Glasgow, UK, announced that they have reached a settlement with a refrigerant reseller in Italy in the context of a court action concerning patented R-422D. DuPont is the sole licensee under a Star Refrigeration patent covering R-422D, a non-ozone-depleting refrigerant broadly used to retrofit and service commercial refrigeration and building air conditioning equipment. Product R-422D marketed by DuPont under the trademark ISCEON MO29 is part of the DuPont ISCEON family of non-ozone depleting retrofit refrigerants.
