| New London office space for Aker Solutions  Award winning Peldon Rose Workplace Consultants has completed a new London office space for Aker Solutions, the global oil and gas Service Company in support of its international business and workforce expansion. The workspace covering 25,000 sq feet is located in Chiswick Business Park, London. The new offices will support field development projects for the North Sea and worldwide. Mike Smith, Operations Director, Aker Solutions said: "The design helps the office to flow efficiently and is easy to maintain, it is also future-proof to allow for expansion. It can accommodate 175 people with an additional six meeting rooms capable of holding 60 people seated. Aker Solutions expects to create 500 new UK jobs by the end of 2015 and further continue its growth.''Key office features include one main boardroom and five principle meeting rooms all equipped with the latest communication technology. There are three main breakout areas which are strategically positioned and designed to gain as much natural light as possible and to generate a feeling of warmth and relaxation. To further create a softening atmosphere, wooden open basket style pendant fittings were added in the dining areas. The design was to give the office a slight Scandinavian feel to reflect is Norwegian origins. Aker Solutions open plan offices feature a highly innovative and flexible desking solution, with each desk having individual electronic height adjustable work surfaces, which can range between a sitting and standing position. Jitesh Patel, Chief Executive Officer, Peldon Rose said: "The project was successfully delivered thanks to our cohesion with the client and our knowledge and understanding of the space and Chiswick Park itself.
