| Armoured door that is synonymous with technology and design ![]() Oikos Synua has represented and continues to represent the evolution of armoured doors today. It was in fact the first armoured door conceived with a "horizontal" concept, in times when doorframes were seen and developed solely with the vertical spatial concept. Synua is therefore a true revolution in armoured door fixtures, even more justified by the fact that Synua is perfectly parallel to the wall – the first of its kind on the market. Even the especially patented handle is parallel. Synua has no projections or hinges. The opening/closing mechanism does not take place with the traditional hinges attached to the frame, but with a vertical pivot, namely two pins located at the vertical extremities like a fulcrum, which are adjustable and completely disappear. Initially conceived as an entrance door, Synua has lent itself to various other solutions for other applications, thanks to its innovative characteristics, together with the potential large dimensions that enable it to reach up to a maximum of 2.2 m in width, by 3 m in height, for a single door panel. write your comments about the article :: © 2011 Construction News :: home page |
