| Morgan Sindall & Vinci Energies appointed for potential £500 million Morgan Sindall Group plc's construction and infrastructure business, Morgan Sindall, has been appointed preferred bidder for a potential £500 million Electricity Transmission Overhead Line partnership as part of joint venture MSVE Transmission. The partnership will deliver National Grid's overhead line construction programme for the next five years. Morgan Sindall will work in joint venture with Vinci Energies, a company which provides a range of high value-added services in energy and information technologies. The majority of the first year's work will be spent on the design and development of the programme of work scheduled in years two to five. The first year will also include a project to replace the Quad Aluminium Conductor Steel Reinforced (ACSR) fittings on a 400kV overhead line.
