| Tetra Tech awarded USACE Kansas City District waste contract Tetra Tech, Inc. announced that it has been awarded a $21.4 million contract to provide architect-engineering (A-E) services for hazardous, toxic, and radioactive waste (HTRW) projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District. The majority of the work will be performed within the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Region 2 (which includes New York, New Jersey, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands) and USACE's Northwestern Division, including the Kansas City, Omaha, and Seattle Districts. The indefinite delivery contract has a three-year base period and one option period of two years. Tetra Tech will perform a variety of environmental, engineering, and project management services for hazardous waste and other environmental projects, including projects related to contaminated soil and groundwater, contaminated sediments, radioactive and mixed wastes, underground storage tanks and fueling systems, and habitat restoration and mitigation.
