| Ramboll acquires Magnus Malmberg Consulting Engineers Danish engineering giant Ramboll acquired all shares in Magnus Malmberg Consulting Engineers Ltd. As a result of the transaction, this will create one of the biggest and strongest structural engineering companies on the Finnish market. Magnus Malmberg Consulting Engineers Ltd has been building up its expertise within structural design and construction supervision since 1935. The founder of the company, Professor Magnus Malmberg, designed several projects in cooperation with the world famous Finnish architect, Alvar Aalto, such as the Main Building of the Helsinki University of Technology and the Finlandia Hall. Magnus Malmberg Consulting Engineers Ltd currently employs 60 experts. As a result of this acquisition, Ramboll will employ 250 experts within Buildings & Design in Finland.
