| New 2011 L16 collection  L16 by Lualdi is the new collection of doors designed by Piero Lissoni. Only 16mm thick and specially designed to minimise the amount of space taken up, the new door challenges the established rules on the dimensions of the door element. Extraordinarily slender, the hinged door resembles a sheet, a clean page, that separates the rooms with a light hand and a smooth movement. Each and every visible element has been designed to disappear. What you see is an intact surface, showing no marks, perfectly homogeneous. It is a veritable architectural element that is able to characterise and define space through the choice of materials and colours. L16 by Lualdi offers the utmost in customisation and extreme flexibility of use. It can be had in versions featuring asymmetrical side and top panels, with or without transom. Its linear quality is underscored by the door knob, POMM, also styled by Piero Lissoni, which features straightforward design and a magnetic micro lock. Ideal for home and contract premises alike, L16 is lacquered with glossy or matte finish, it is available in a rich colour palette and offers a wide choice of wood species: bleached oak, dark and grey oak, thermo wood and black walnut.
