PC390LC-10 hydraulic excavator

Komatsu America introduced the PC390LC-10 hydraulic excavator. With a flywheel horsepower of 192 kW, the PC390LC-10 is powered by a Komatsu SAA6D114E-5 engine and is EPA Tier 4 Interim and EU Stage 3B emissions certified. Built upon a proven Tier 3 engine platform, Komatsu has leveraged its leadership in technology and innovation to design a more environmentally-friendly engine that increases power while decreasing fuel consumption. Every Komatsu Tier 4 Interim construction machine comes standard with Komatsu CARE complimentary factory scheduled maintenance for 2,000 hours or the first three years, whichever is first. Komatsu Care also includes two complimentary Komatsu Diesel Particulate Filter (KDPF) exchanges within the first 5 years. The Komatsu CARE program covers all new Komatsu Tier 4 Interim equipment, whether rented, leased or purchased.

With an operating weight of 40,402 kg, the PC390LC-10 features improved hydraulic efficiency, improved operator comfort, simplified maintenance to extend component life, and a large undercarriage design that significantly increases lift capacity.

The PC390LC-10 is equipped with the latest KOMTRAX technology, which sends machine operating information to a secure website utilizing wireless technology. Data such as operating hours, machine location, maintenance notifications, out of area notifications, machine utilization and residual fuel levels are relayed to the web application for analysis. The KOMTRAX fleet monitoring system monitors machine availability, reduces the risk of machine theft, allows for remote diagnosis by the distributor, and provides a wealth of other information to drive business efficiency.

Special features of the new PC390LC-10 include:
• EPA Tier 4 Interim and EU Stage 3B Emissions Certified Engine
• Robust Undercarriage Design
• Highly Efficient Hydraulic System
• Improved Operator Environment
• Convenient Maintenance and Serviceability
