| Strabag subsidiaries to build motorway section near Cracow Poland's General Directorate for National Roads and Highways commissioned a consortium led by the two Polish Strabag subsidiaries Heilit+Woerner Budowlana Sp. z o. o. and Strabag Sp. z o. o. to continue construction of the 21 km section of A4 motorway between Brzesko and Wierzchoslawice. The order comes after a previous contract for this section with a Polish-Macedonian consortium was cancelled earlier this spring. The construction time amounts to 15 months, but will be divided into three completion milestones. In the course of the ongoing preparations for Euro 2012 in Poland and Ukraine, the Polish authorities have placed the completion of the A4 motorway on the list of priority projects.
