| Spectacular walkable glass bridge  The new bridge is a spectacular 21 meters long structure, made of glass and steel connecting the two buildings in Champalimaud Biomedical Research Center in Lisbon, Portugal. Envelope, balustrade and deck are made entirely of glass. SEVASA has solved the need for NON-SLIPPING SECURITY floor with certificated Incus-S glass from the CriSamar STEP line. Incus-S is certified by the UNE ENV 12633, DIN 51130, UL 410 and ASTM C 1028 standards and tests. With a certified surface hardness of scale 5 in MOHS, unique in the market, this walkable highly resistant to scratches glass ensures maximum durability.Each deck piece is low-iron heat-strengthened glass, measuring 1900 x 2150 x 52 mm thick and is composed of 5 multilaminate layers, being CriSamar STEP_Incus-S 10 mm the anti-slip top surface glass. Designed by architect Charles Correa Associates in collaboration with engineering Schlaich und Partner Bergermann, and the company Bellapart, who undertook the detailed design, fabrication and assembly work.
