World's experts in masts and towers meet at Ramboll Head Office

The biannual meeting for the IASS Working Group for Masts and Towers is held at Ramboll Head Office in Copenhagen from 11th to 15th of September 2011. At the meeting the world's most experienced experts with masts and towers will present technical contributions and discuss issues related to the mast and tower industry.

Internationally renowned group

The IASS Working Group for Masts and Towers was formed in 1968 by the International Association for Shell and Spatial Structures (IASS) as a response to the rapid growth in new masts and towers and the associated failures and lacks of codes and standards. It is the only international forum within masts and towers, and has approximately 100 members from more than 25 countries worldwide.

The members of the Group meet every two years for technical sessions and discussions on issues related to masts and towers, from commercial, aesthetic, theoretical and practical perspectives. Another important objective of the Group is to provide design guidance for National and International Code drafting Committees.
