| Three parallel congress events to be held in Nuremberg Reconciling heat pumps with climate protection and the demands of economics is no problem. Specialist information all about thismodern form of heating and cooling will be on offer from 27 to 29 September 2011 in three partly parallel congress events to be held at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre. More than 70 presentations are on the programme, from the Forum on heat pumps, European Heat Pump Summit and the ZVKKW Symposium Air-to-air heat pumps for commercial buildings. The detailed programme of presentations is already available online. 9th Forum on heat pumps with geothermic day The trio of events begins on Tuesday 27 September with the 9th Forum on heat pumps, introduced by the Federal Heat Pumps Association e.V. (BWP). Here on the first day the potentials of the heat pump and political outline conditions are in the spotlight. The second day will be devoted to shallow geothermal energy. On an excursion in the afternoon, best practice examples will be visited which show how the earth can be used for energyefficient heating and cooling while conserving the climate. 'In the heat pump forum, the spotlight is turned on developments in Germany. We are pleased to have been able to secure the services of Jan Fischer from the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety and Dr. Frank-Michael Baumann from the EnergyAgency. NRW (North-Rhine-Westphalia) as speakers, amongst others", declared Karl-Heinz Stawiarski, BWP's managing director. European Heat Pump Summit In the internationally-oriented European Heat Pump Summit, for two days from Wednesday 28 September, subjects such as 'Industrial Heat Pump Application' or 'Status and prospect of refrigerants when used in heat pumps' will be discussed. 'The summit is a high-quality information pool for the heat pump sector globally. Speakers are internationally-known experts from industry and from appropriate industrial associations such as Michael Taylor from the International Energy Agency (Paris) and Thomas Nowak from the European Heat Pump Association (Brussels)', says Gabriele Hannwacker, chief organiser of the European Heat Pump Summit at NürnbergMesse. All speeches are to be made in English and most of them will be simultaneously translated. ZVKKW Air-air-heat pumps for commercial properties Symposium In addition, on Wednesday afternoon the Air-to-air-heat pumps for commercial properties Symposium is held. At the symposium, organised by the Central Cooling Climate and Heat pumps Association (ZVKKW), the different types of system (cooling, 2- and 3-pipe systems) will be presented and explained. Exemplary installations here give further information for their planning and execution, as well as their costs of operation. Furthermore, the design of an 'almost zero-energy building' using VRF technology will be described. Foyer exhibition presents big-name manufacturers The connection between these three highly-specialised events will be found in the foyer exhibition. On all three days, well-known manufacturers from the sector will be there to give advice on all aspects of heat pumps. write your comments about the article :: © 2011 Construction News :: home page |
