| New residential ZTR cuts more grass in less time The new John Deere EZtrak Z665 provides homeowners with the fastest ground speed in the homeowner market. It also offers the highest horsepower available in a residential zero-turn mower (ZTR), and an exclusive, high-capacity mower deck. In addition, the Z665 comes with a 4-year/500-hour, bumper-to-bumper limited warranty. "John Deere mowers are known to provide superior cut quality, and now with the new Z665, homeowners can get the quality cut they want, with the speed they need," says Kim Ridel, John Deere tactical marketing manager. With a top speed of 9-mph, and a 27-hp John Deere 5-Step Cyclonic engine, the Z665 is specially designed for the challenges of zero-turn mowing. The 60-inch high-capacity deck is stamped from 9-gauge steel for maximum durability, with a deep shell design for enhanced cut quality. The John Deere Z665 also offers adjustable handles, convenient controls, on-board tracking adjustment tool, and a flip-up foot platform for easy cleaning and service. The Z665 is scheduled for delivery to John Deere dealerships in late October 2011.
