Leviton's Series 3000 line of smart meters

Leviton introduced its Series 3000 line of smart meters. Designed to provide simple and effective tools to accurately measure power use in a building, the Series 3000 meters feature a variety of enhanced measurement functionality, greater communications capabilities and new indicators to ensure proper installation and accurate data collection. Easy-to-install and maintenance-free, Leviton's Metering Solutions, including the Series 3000 line, complement the company's robust energy management controls family. Leviton customers have access to a complete integrated solution for achieving their sustainable and green building initiatives, a truly unique offering to the industry.

"Pairing our worldwide distribution and sales channels with quality lighting and metering devices, Leviton is the industry leader in our ability to serve as a single source for integrating complete energy saving solutions," said Richard Westfall, VP/GM Leviton Lighting & Energy Solutions. "The new Series 3000 meters are yet another example of Leviton's century-long commitment to engineering solutions with the best performance in the industry – delivering accuracy, communication, installation and support at no additional cost. And all as part of a solutions-based offering that only Leviton can provide."

• Enhanced measurement functionality - The meters measure kWh, demand, instantaneous power, volts, amps, watts, VAR and VA per phase.
• Greater communication capabilities - All meters are equipped with an isolated pulse output channel and RS-485 serial port for easy AMR/BAS/BMS/EMS system interface, while built-in communication features allow for the addition of automation capabilities in the future without additional investment.
• User-friendly features for installers - The Series 3000 meters features energy-direction arrows (per phase energy and total energy) in the custom display, which indicate if the meter is installed correctly. A green duty cycle light shows that the meter is collecting electrical consumption data at the appropriate rate.

As with versions of Leviton meters introduced earlier, the Series 3000 line includes automated data collection solutions and can be paired with Leviton's EMS energy reporting and analysis software to allow users to easily and intelligently manage energy consumption. The meters offer an industry-leading 10-year warranty and deliver superior revenue-grade accuracy for high quality, long-term reliability compared to competing devices. The meters are available in an indoor steel or outdoor NEMA 4X enclosure.

The Series 3000 and complete line of metering solutions and lighting control products are part of the solutions that Leviton has provided to customers for more than a century.
