Hill International announces five new Vice Presidents

Hill International (NYSE:HIL), the global leader in managing construction risk, announced the hiring or promotion of five executives to the position of Vice President with the company.

Stephen C. Briggs, of Hill's London office, has joined the firm's Construction Claims Group as Vice President and Managing Director. Briggs has more than 30 years of consulting experience including construction, process engineering, shipbuilding, ship conversion, petrochemical and strategic planning of infrastructure and facilities projects. Prior to joining Hill, he was a Senior Managing Director with the Forensic and Litigation Practice of FTI Brewer Consulting. Briggs earned a Diploma in Arbitration from the College of Estates Management and he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Robert J. McDonough, of Hill's Marlton, New Jersey office, has joined the firm's Project Management Group as Vice President. McDonough has more than 23 years of experience in the construction industry with a special focus in the pharmaceutical, biotech, industrial/process and energy markets. Prior to joining Hill, he was Director of Business Development with Pathfinder Inc. McDonough earned a B.S. in chemical engineering from Northeastern University and an M.B.A. from Southern Illinois University.

William A. Mocsan, of Hill's Mississauga, Ontario office, has been promoted to Vice President and Managing Director for Hill's Canadian subsidiary, Knowles Consultancy Services, Inc. Mocsan has more than 30 combined years of experience in the public and private sectors with a special focus on public sector administration, finance, management and policy development. Prior to joining Hill, he was a manager with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation. Mocsan earned his B.A. from McMaster University and his Masters of Environmental Studies from York University, and he is a Certified Management Consultant.

Keith Strutt, of Hill's London office, has been promoted to Vice President and Executive Director with the company's Construction Claims Group. Strutt has more than 31 years of experience in the construction industry with extensive experience in the building, civil engineering and rail market sectors. Prior to joining Hill, he had been Group Commercial Director of a specialist construction group in the United Kingdom. Strutt earned an M.S. in construction law and arbitration from King's College London and an LL.M. from Queen Mary College London. He is a chartered quantity surveyor, civil engineering surveyor, construction manager and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.

Peter B. Turton, P.E., of Hill's San Ramon, California office, has joined the firm's Project Management Group as Vice President. Turton has more than 40 years of construction experience on multi-billion dollar transportation, building and power projects around the world. He served on a panel of world-renowned experts chosen to evaluate and recommend strategy for the rebuilding of New York City's World Trade Center and was involved in a confidential security project concerning two major transportation hubs in New York City. Prior to joining Hill, he was a Vice President with The LiRo Group. Turton earned B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in civil engineering from the University of Birmingham. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of California and a chartered engineer in the United Kingdom.
