| ABB wins power generation order in Czech Republic Swiss engineering giant ABB has won an order worth about $28 million from the Germany-based general contractor Kraftanlagen München, to provide a turnkey electrical solution for a new generating unit being constructed at the Kladno I combined heat and power plant near Prague. ABB will design, engineer and install a complete electrical balance of plant solution including the supply of key products such as high-, medium-, and low-voltage switchgear; power, auxiliary and distribution transformers, as well as bus ducts, protection and low-voltage drives.
