| Hochtief secures projects in Germany, Austria, and Sweden German builder Hochtief has secured numerous new contracts with a total value of EUR 173 million. European management company Hochtief Solutions is renovating a building at Ruhr University in Bochum. The company is also building traffic tunnels in Stockholm, and the Hochtief subsidiary is constructing a bypass in Austria. Since June 2011, Hochtief Solutions has been renovating a building complex for Ruhr University's school of engineering in Bochum. The property, with a total gross area of about 46, 500 square meters, was built in 1965 and will be fully renovated pursuant to ecological standards by March 2013. The company is building three 700-meter long tunnels in downtown Stockholm and replacing an existing bridge. Construction will take place without road closures, and will include water and wastewater work along with road construction, to be completed by April 2017.
