| Arcadis wins sewer rehabilitation program contract in the U.S. The Netherlands-based Arcadis announced that Malcolm Pirnie, the water division of Arcadis, has been awarded a $15 million contract for the Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) sewer rehabilitation project. The company will provide various engineering services, including development of design documents, environmental permitting, construction administration and community outreach. The project will span five years. WSSC, which is headquartered in Laurel, Md., provides drinking water and wastewater services to both Montgomery and Prince George's counties, including the maintenance and operation of a 5,200-mile sewer system. The work will be performed from a local project office near WSSC to maintain a close connection with WSSC staff and to facilitate a proactive community involvement program. write your comments about the article :: © 2011 Construction News :: home page |
