| Riedel joins Baker as director of EMHM services Michael Baker Jr., Inc., an engineering unit of Michael Baker Corporation (NYSE Amex: BKR), has announced that George Riedel, CFM, formerly the Deputy Executive Director of the Association of State Floodplain Managers (ASFPM) and leader of the flood program for the Missouri State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA), has joined Baker as director of the firm's Emergency Management and Hazard Mitigation practice. Riedel brings over 30 years of professional experience to Baker. In the last 15 years, he has focused exclusively on hazard mitigation and emergency management activities related to flooding. In this leadership position, Riedel will serve as national practice lead for Baker's growing Emergency Management and Hazard Mitigation (EMHM) services. Based in Missouri, he will serve as a key coordinator of Baker resources and services, focusing heavily on business development and growth opportunities.
