| Morgan Sindall appointed to £1.2 billion Gatwick framework Morgan Sindall Group's construction and infrastructure business, Morgan Sindall, has been appointed to a four-year, £1.2 billion construction framework to deliver a programme of upgrades and improvements at Gatwick Airport. The company is one of ten successful contractors to make the framework which will cover projects ranging from new aircraft piers and modernised baggage systems to new retail, security and immigration areas. The programme of improvements is an investment Gatwick Airport Ltd is making in partnership and co-operation with the airlines. Morgan Sindall was on the major projects framework which Gatwick's owners, Global Infrastructure Partners, inherited when it acquired the airport in 2009, and is presently on site delivering the £50 million Gatwick North Terminal extension. write your comments about the article :: © 2011 Construction News :: home page |
