European Heat Pump Summit in Nuremberg

Two years ago the first European Heat Pump Summit 2009 - powered by Chillventa - was successfully held. With around 270 European conference participants and top-ranking speakers along with the supporting Lobby Show, the European Heat Pump Summit in Nuremberg got off to a remarkable start. Now the top-ranking heat pump event is entering its second phase. A new feature this year in Nuremberg: the established Heat Pump Forum organized by the Federal Heat Pump Association, which is held partially parallel from 27th to 28th September 2011 to the European Heat Pump Summit (28th to 29th September). spliter In addition, the Air-Air Heat Pump for Commercial Real Estate Symposium staged by the ZVKKW will be held on the afternoon of 28th September.

Over three days the heat pump theme will be covered in a compact and comprehensive approach in the Heat Pump City of Nuremberg. The special feature this year is on the one hand the international and on the other national orientation of the event. That means: as events held partially parallel to one another from 27th to 29th September at the Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, both the international European Heat Pump Summit – powered by Chillventa – as well as the 9th Heat Pump Forum will be focusing on the trends and developments in Germany. This will be further complemented by an additional event covering the application of heat pumps in the commercial and industrial segment, the Air-Air Heat Pump for Commercial Real Estate Symposium. The framework for this highly specialized event is ultimately provided by the Foyer Expo with renowned international companies.

Know-how perfectly encapsulated: the 9th Heat Pump Forum

The energy turnaround is currently on everybody's lips. Often, however, the heat market is neglected in this connection. In this context it is particularly this form of energy which offers enormous potential and will have a decisive influence on the success of the energy turnaround. This is where the heat pump plays a key role. The focal point of the 9th Heat Pump Forum on the first day will therefore be the potential of the heat pump for heating and cooling in future along with the general political conditions required to open up this potential. This year the second day is devoted to near-surface geothermal energy: among others Best-Practice examples in practically-orientated and graphic demonstrations will show how the ground can be used for energy-efficient and climatically-friendly heating and cooling. The 9th Heat Pump Forum provides the opportunity for an exchange with the experts in the sector as well as a discussion on innovative areas of application, quality assurance and politically funded models.

At the focal point: Air-Air Heat Pump in Commercial Real Estate

On Wednesday afternoon, the know-how on all aspects of this theme with its great market potential will also be further extended within the framework of the Air-Air Heat Pump Symposium for Commercial Real Estate. Here the aspects of efficiency and economical operation, diverse possible applications, experience-based reports on planning, installation and operation along with the significance of the VRF (Variable Refrigeration Flow) systems for the Renewable Energies Heat Act will be addressed. Today the "Near zero energy house" in the commercial sector has already been realized in individual projects and underlines the significance of this market segment.

European Heat Pump Summit: International platform for professionals

Parallel to this on the morning of Wednesday, 28th September, the European Heat Pump Summit will get underway with the overview lectures on the current trends and developments in the area of heat pump technologies and their applications. These lectures will inform the audience about the heat pump market in diverse countries and on different continents. The significance of the heat pump for a sustainable future along with its status and prospects for the European markets is complemented by comprehensive information. A further point is currently the previous implementation of the Renewable Energy Directive in the European countries. Following Smart Metering and Smart Grid, the Smart Cities are now the theme for heat pump application. Components, product and system developments provide a focal point at the event and are purposefully complemented by the foyer exhibition which is held on all three days.Heat pump applications for single-family houses along with the use of the heat pump in industrial and commercial fields supported by examples from many countries all around the world will form key segments on Thursday, 29th September. The European Heat Pump Summit will once again be providing a simultaneous English/German translation of the lectures.
