| FE folding door "Teckentrup 50" The new Teckentrup steel folding doors are an ideal solution for large door opening widths – up to 16 metres wide and 5 metres high. At BAU 2011, the German company presented the new generation, characterized by low-wear and greater stability. Moreover, the double-skinned elements improve heat insulation and are storm proof. The new double-skinned FE folding doors "Teckentrup 50" are a brand new development. They are very smooth running and have a low U value to enhance heat insulation. They are also storm proof and easy to install – quick and simple without welding. The new doors are low-wear and maintenance free, ensuring longevity and ultimate cost effectiveness. Threshold-free wicket doors (optional) are integrated in the door and are, therefore, suitable for escape routes and emergency exits. The new hinges are spring pre-loaded. This facilitates operation and ensures secure locking. The leaves only have lateral guidance in the upper area, resulting in easy and low-noise operation. Doors with more than three leaves per side have an additional support roller. Special plastic coated steel rollers ensure extremely quiet, smooth, low-wear and continuous operation. The elegant, spring pre-loaded handles guarantee secure and simple door locking. The locking bars can be adjusted after installation ensuring that the tolerances which develop during a door's service life can be compensated for. The door leaves are high strength and extremely smooth. Perfect leaf alignment is guaranteed by the adjustable rubber dampers – meaning the door closes quietly and is always sealed correctly. Special perforations at the seals allow them to be fitted easily and exactly. The new hinges (galvanized steel) are adapted to the door leaves and also facilitate installation: The adjusting screws can be used to align the leaves in two directions. The hinges are secured with grub screws – which are not visible when the door is closed. Teckentrup does not use welded joints to construct the robust door leaves. This means galvanized and primed parts are not damaged during the production process – providing optimum protection against corrosion. write your comments about the article :: © 2011 Construction News :: home page |
